Things have been somewhat hectic. Between trying to put things together and doing experiments in the lab and my god not forgetting the endless lab reports. As soon as one is completed the other just pops up. Talk about a bumpy road to success.
It's the coming slowly to the end of second year and the completion of an Associate Degree. Everyone is just trying to make it out the best they can.
As a chemistry student we hardly have the time to scratch our head. You always have to keep the ball rolling. If you're not stuck in the lab, you're in class, if not there you're in the library studying, reading for your degree. When it comes to lunch, you do it on the way to class because sometimes you have just 5 minutes to get from one to the next... things get crazy especially if the next class has a scheduled exam.
Chemistry is fun. You learn all these cool things. Do all these amazing experiments. You learn about how various thing in life function like how the refrigerator keeps you food for a period of time and did I mention if you do thermodynamics, you get the first hand experience to make ice cream. Cool right?
As hectic as it is you never really get bored. Once you stay focused all the exciting things come your way. Chemistry is explosive.
You never let it get to your personal life. Yeah sure you bring home lab reports to do but hey get it done as quickly and accurately as you possibly can and you'll get to do anything you want.
At the end of your degree, pick your project and you can be the next Marie Curie. Get into the fun but don't let it take the fun out of you. You have potential and you will go far. Just believe in yourself and believe in the chemistry.
Be the best you can be.
"Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas." - Marie Curie
"Have no fear of perfection; you'll never reach it.""Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood." - Marie Curie
